HPC: challenge the present to innovate the future (II ed.)

The Master in High Performance Computing is glad to present the II edition of the event "HPC: challenge the present to innovate the future". MHPC would like to start an open dialogue with regional and national stakeholders to analyse new HPC trends and needs, with the aim to act synergistically to be the best actors in the field in Friuli Venezia Giulia and beyond.

The event is scheduled on Friday, February 14th in SISSA, from 2.30 pm to 6 pm followed by a networking aperitif. After the institutional greetings, there will be a first academic part: a lectio magistralis held by Federico Toschi, Ph.D., full professor at the departments of Applied Physics and of Mathematics and Computer Science at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), the presentation of diplomas and the awarding of the best thesis 2018-2019.

The second part will be dedicated to the success stories of MHPC and our partners (past, present and future). The event will be moderated by the journalist Gianluca Dotti and the public will be diversified and will include entrepreneurs, institutions, SMEs and companies.
