The Master in High Performance Computing is glad to present the III edition of the event "HPC: challenge the present to innovate the future". MHPC would like to start an open dialogue with regional and national stakeholders to analyse new HPC trends and needs, with the aim to act synergistically to be the best actors in the field in Friuli Venezia Giulia and beyond.

After the institutional greetings, there will be the lectio magistralis given by Guido Sanguinetti - Professor of Applied Physics and Chair of Data Science at SISSA, followed by the presentation of diplomas and the awarding of the best thesis 2019-2020.

At the end of the event, a success story: Peter Labus, former MHPC student and now Large Scale Deep Learning Team Lead at Fraunhofer ITWM.
