OGS scholarships

The National Institute of Oceanography and Applied Geophysics - OGS provides 5 scholarships - covering tuition fee - to support MHPC students interested in a collaboration with the scientific institution. 

These scholarships are meant to deliver thesis projects in the field of Earth Science, with the only constraint that those projects must be deployed exploiting the TeRABIT (Terabit Network for Research and Academic Big Data in ITaly) infrastructure. TeRABIT aims to integrate and enhance three strategic Research Digital Infrastructures:

• GARR-T, the network infrastructure supporting education and research in Italy.
• PRACE-Italy, high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure, the Italian node of the European PRACE infrastructure.
• HPC-BD-AI, cloud-edge distributed computing infrastructure capable of managing high-performance computing resources, big data and artificial intelligence applications.
